~ About the Milling Process ~
Rice is Comedy's "Inochi no Ichi" is carefully milled to 80% degree, known as hachi-bu (eight parts), to maximize flavor. Milling is the process whereby the outer husk and bran of the brown rice are removed, leaving the inner edible grain intact. The lower the milling degree, the more nutrients remain in the rice!
Hachi-bu rice is firm and chewy but not as hard as brown rice, thus rendering it easy to enjoy. It also has a subtle, pleasant nuka (bran) aroma with a natural sweetness and toasty flavor that is not found in white rice. This rice is not only rich in nutrients but is also easily digestible and delicious. It is a good balance between the benefits of white rice and the rich flavor of brown rice.
Such a nutritious, easy-to-eat, and full-flavored rice is especially popular among health-conscious individuals or anyone who appreciates great taste and texture.
"Inochi no Ichi" is the perfect choice for daily meals. Enjoy a healthy and delicious dining experience with Rice is Comedy's "Inochi no Ichi"!
