Peach Confiture

Peach Confiture

Nasu Peach Confiture 160g - Selected by Cheesemakers to Pair with Cheese

Store-bought jams are too sweet, lack real fruit, and don't go well with cheese.

This confiture solves that. Made by peach specialists “Nasu no Momoyasan Tsuchiya” and officially selected by Ohtawara Cheese Station as their go-to confiture for cheese pairing.

It’s the same popular pairing served at their shops in Nasu and Ohtawara — a collaboration of two local artisans, now available from Hata's Hamper.

1. Who Is It For? | Recommended For These Moments

For cheese and wine lovers: Turn your everyday cheese board into a restaurant-quality experience. The perfect elevated snack for your evening wine or when hosting guests.
For those seeking authentic taste: For those who want additive-free, real fruit jam that is not overly sweet, and safe for the whole family.
For a thoughtful gift: A gift with a story — a collaboration of two famous Nasu-area artisans. Ideal for cheese lovers, as a housewarming gift, or a special present from Japan.

2. Product Features | Why the Cheesemakers Chose It

Selected by Ohtawara Cheese Station. From many jams, the cheesemakers chose this one specifically for its compatibility with their cheeses, including their signature washed-rind cheese “Hiun.”

Packed with whole fruit: More than a jam, the jar is packed with chunks of ripe Japanese peach. You’ll find generous pieces of fruit suspended in a light, syrupy glaze.
Only 3 ingredients, additive-free: Made with only Peach (from Japan), Sugar, and Lemon. No artificial flavorings or preservatives. It delivers the pure, rich and deep sweetness and floral aroma of peak-season peaches.
Designed to pair with cheese: The rich sweetness is balanced by a clean finish of lemon acidity, so it doesn't clash with cheese. Instead, it lifts the saltiness and creamy umami of the cheese.

3. How to Enjoy | Tasting & Pairing Guide

With Cheese [Our Recommended Way]:
The pairing the cheesemakers intended. Serve with Ohtawara Cheese Station’s “Hiun,” Camembert, or cream cheese. Simply place cheese and a spoonful of confiture on a cracker for the ultimate wine appetizer.

For Breakfast:
On thick-cut toast, yogurt, pancakes, or granola. A spoonful transforms your morning into a luxurious moment.

As Dessert & Drink:
As a sauce for vanilla ice cream or panna cotta. Mix with sparkling water for a luxurious peach soda, or stir into black tea for a fragrant peach tea.
