KAKKO(chèvre)

“Kakkō” by Ima Farm in Nasu Highlands is a white-mold aged cheese made from goat’s milk (chèvre).

It is characterized by its mild flavor with very little of the typical goat cheese tang, offering a gentle sweetness from the milk, a rich umami from the white mold, and a smooth, creamy texture. A subtle, sweet aroma reminiscent of sake adds an elegant touch, making it approachable even for those new to chèvre.

Since its launch in 2025, it has gained popularity as a distinctive and refined cheese. It can be enjoyed on its own, and also pairs beautifully with Japanese ingredients, allowing for a wide range of creative combinations.

Storage method: Must be refrigerated at 10℃ or below
