Nakayama Farm, with a 50-year history spanning three generations, is located in the Yamabe district at the foot of Mt.Furanodake.
The owner, Shinichi, together with his family and staff, has inherited the family's commitment and know-how in melon production, and continues to produce more and more delicious melons every year through trial and error without compromise.
I was working at Farm Nakayama and learned how to take care of the various types of melons and the knowledge of the farm's produce. During break time, Shinichi offered melons to staffs until our stomachs were full.
We would like everyone to taste these delicious melons that we keep coming back to try again and again.
