Ima Farm is located in the Nasu Highlands, which is the northernmost part of Tochigi Prefecture, also known for dairy farming. Since 1947, the Ima family has been producing delicious milk, and owns a factory dedicated to producing a wide selection of cheese.

One of the factors which affects cheese yield is the freshness of the milk. At Ima Farm, the efficiency of transferring fresh milk from cows and goats to the cheese factory ensures the production of high-quality cheese.

In Japan, goat cheese is often avoided due to its strong flavor, but Ima Farm’s tasty goat cheese is highly regarded in Japan and abroad and has even garnered numerous awards. 

The farm also produces a variety of aged cheese including "washed-rind", "semi-hard", “hard” and "acid-coagulated", and they are each unique in their own way.

It is time to savor the diverse cheeses crafted in the Nasu Highlands with a glass of wine or Japanese sake!
