Fantastic Taste!

I received this wonderful white asparagus and, following Nori's advice, started by tasting it raw.
I couldn’t believe it—what kind of fruit is this? People often say white asparagus can be bitter, but I didn’t feel any of that at all.
Instead, I was overwhelmed by its incredible fragrance and sweetness—it was truly moving!

I’ll enjoy it raw for now, and over the weekend, I plan to take my time and boil it properly to serve with hollandaise sauce.
It’s so delicious that I wish I could meet the producer in person to say thank you!

昨年初めて購入させて頂きました。
届いた箱を開けてビックリ！見たことがない立派なホワイトアスパラがギッシリ！しかも、上から下まで皮も剥かずに生のまま頂けるなんて！歯ざわりもパリッとジューシーで、上品な甘みがあり、アスパラだけでメインになりました。
1年待って今年も頂きましたよ！
オリーブオイルで焼きめを付ける程度にサッと炒め、塩コショウしたところにホタルイカとプチトマトを投入、風味付けにバターとお醤油を少しずつ！最後に小口ネギを散らして！
最高でした！
くれぐれも火を入れすぎないで！
我が子も大ファンです！

White Asparagus

What a special treat to find white asparagus as fresh, thick and tasty as these!
They were amazing when added to a simple salad, slightly grilled with salt/pepper.

Mind-blowing!

Sweet and crunchy, these white asparagus are best taken as they are, and there’s no need to peel or cook or dip in any sauce! I have never tasted asparagus more original than these ones. Love them!
